“Clean, open and attractively perfumed, this malbec from Cahors really puts the floral side of the variety (violets) on prominent display, alongside fresh blue fruit, blueberries and blue plums, with little wood influence to report. The palate is appealingly polished, still grippy in the varietal/regional genre, but more sleek and integrated. I like the succulence and juiciness on offer.
