Bel Colle have a passion for the Pelaverga grape which is indigenous not only to Piedmont but to Verduno itself. It’s a wonderful variety that is as versatile a food wine as we have ever encountered. This Verduno Pelaverga possesses a delicate ruby colour with highlights that range from violet to cerise. A fine balance of acidity and tannins render it gracious and fresh to the palate, while maintaining a good structure. With its fragrant and spicy aroma, and white pepper scent, it is considered a rarity by Italian connoisseurs.
