100% Muller Thurgau

This wine is a very inviting, extremely versatile alpine white. The aromatic profile expresses lovely thyme, mint and green apple notes. The first sip takes up the sensation of freshness perceived by the nose couples with bracing acidity and invites you in. Sip as an aperitif.

The Muller-Thurgau grape was first bred in Geisenheim (in the Rheigau region) in 1882 by Professor Hermann Muller from Thurgau, Switzerland. The grape was named after him in 1913. For many years, it was believed that the grape was a cross between the Riesling and Silvaner grapes. However, with the help of recent genetic analysis, it was discovered that the Muller-Thurgau grape is actually a cross between the Riesling and Madeleine Royale grapes.

Pairings: Ideal with smoked trout, grilled white meats, and poached white asparagus in season.
